Denise Miller Biography

Denise did not realize why she had difficulties in school and in life until her son was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder, and she realized that she had been living with it her whole life. When she found the gold in the shadow of her learning disability, she discovered a path to a new world of self-awareness and acceptability.

 Now Denise helps others find that gold! She awakens understanding of human dynamics and the elements of SELF.  Denise reminds us that we can each create happiness for ourselves, through the simple and powerful strategies she teaches:

Awareness, Acceptance and Authentic Expression of SELF!

For the past 25 years, Denise has drawn upon her Celtic and Native ancestry as she facilitated programs for adults and youth. 

  • In the past, it was outdoor pursuits, team building, and historical curriculum programming. 
  • Now she presents keynotes, performs storytelling and facilitates workshops and breakout sessions across the world!  
  • You will find her at corporate events, schools at all levels – elementary through post secondary, festivals, and conferences.
  • Denise has provided award winning, local, national, and international radio journalism and produced a radio show giving voice to the stories of the native elders and spiritual leaders she met on her storytelling journeys.  
  • She has provided media coverage, had a column in a local newspaper and various articles in national, regional and local newspapers and magazines.

Denise is a member of the Canadian Association for Professional Speakers and a member of the Global Speakers Federation. She is on the Artists Roster for The Young Alberta  Book Society and The Alberta Foundation for the Arts
